Realme 2 Pro With 8GB RAM & Snapdragon 660 SoC To Launch As Flipkart Exclusive

For a company just six-months old, Realme sure is well-known. The sub-brand of Oppo will be launching smartphone number three, called the Realme 2 Pro in September this year. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth’s interaction with a YouTuber confirmed the specifications of the phone to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset along with a Full HD+ display, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and not to mention, the Face Unlock feature.

The Realme 2 Pro will be the most powerful smartphone that the company has ever launched. It is also only the fifth device to come with the mid-range snapdragon 660 chipset. Featuring a waterdrop notch for all those who are savvy about it, the smartphone is hinted to come in different RAM and Storage configuration combinations.

The CEO of Realme has confirmed the price of the Realme 2 Pro will be somewhere between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 20,000. So, it is deemed as the cheapest device to come with a snapdragon 660 chipset, next only to the Xiaomi Mi A2. Although the phone will see a September 27 launch, it is expected to go on sale only by October.

Realme has sold over a million smartphones in the country already

In accordance with the launch of the Realme 2, the company also confirms it has sold over a million units of the phones it has already launched in the country, which include the Realme 1 and the Realme 2. Also, it will be interesting to note the audience’s reaction when the Realme 2 Pro will be priced higher than the Realme 2.
